The Citadel and adidas Announce Partnership
Charleston, SC. – The Citadel and adidas today announce a five-year partnership in which adidas will be the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Bulldogs through the 2018 season.
“The Citadel is excited to partner with adidas. We were seeking to coordinate our team apparel and look, and adidas is precisely what we needed and wanted,” said Larry Leckonby, Citadel Athletic Director. “We know that our cadet-student-athletes will be proud to join the list of outstanding college and professional programs that wear the adidas brand.”
Through the partnership, adidas will supply the Bulldogs with all apparel, footwear and accessories for competition, practices, training, coaching, travel, recruiting and media engagements starting July, 1 2013 for all 16 intercollegiate athletic teams.

The Citadel fans will be able to purchase adidas’ wide range of products, including sideline gear, coaches’ polo shirts, hats, jackets and outerwear at The Citadel bookstore both in stores and online.
