2011: Made a team-hig h 14 starts, going 5-3 with an ERA of 4.61 in 84.0 innings of work… named the SoCon Pitcher of the Month in February after going 2-0 with an ERA of 1.29 in the first month of the season… struck out a team-high 77 batters with 27 walks… led the team in innings pitched and wins… best start came against Appalachian State (3/4) when he struck out a career-high 13 batters in 8.0 scoreless innings while scattering five hits in a 4-0 shutout of the Mountaineers… allowed just one run on five hits in season opener against Towson (2/19) while striking out eight and walking two in 7.0 innings of work… gave up just three hits and one earned run in a win over Old Dominion (2/26) while striking out seven in 7.0 innings… fired 7.0 innings and allowed an unearned run in a win over USC Upstate [2] (4/23)… defeated Presbyterian [1] (5/1) with 6.0 strong innings, allowing one earned run on seven hits in the win.

2010: Appeared in 11 games, made eight starts in freshman season... sported a record of 3-3.... made collegiate debut vs. Saint Joseph's (2/26 ) going 1.1 scoreless innings of relief allowing one walk and two strikeouts... earned first collegiate victory vs. Winthrop (3/24), going 6.0 innings, allowing five hits, two runs, four walks and three strikeouts... best start came vs. Charleston Southern (3/31) as he went 6.0 innings, allowing no runs, three hits, one walk and two strikeouts and inducing four double-plays, the most in a game since 1990 for The Citadel... he combined with three other pitchers to shutout the Buccaneers 5-0 and give Fred Jordan the most wins in school history... made SoCon debut in a start at College of Charleston (5/9) as he went 6.0 innings, allowing five hits, three runs, three walks and struck out a season-high four batters in a no-decision.

High School: Graduated from James Island High School in 2009... recorded a 2.25 ERA his junior year... played for the South Carolina Diamond Devils, helping to lead them to the Perfect Game National Championship... coached by Tom Hatley, Stephen Williams and Donnie Pritcher, all of which are graduates of The Citadel.

Personal: Austin Keith Pritcher... born Feb. 13, 1991 in Charleston, S.C... son of Donnie and Johna Pritcher... father, Donnie, wrestled at The Citadel from 1982-86... brother, Robert, is a catcher at the College of Charleston... majoring in physical education.
