The Citadel Hosts South Carolina in Blue Out Game Tuesday at Riley Park
Charleston, S.C. – When The Citadel hosts South Carolina on Tuesday in a game sponsored by TD Bank, it will be a Blue Out Night at Riley Park. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
All Citadel fans are encouraged to wear blue to support the Bulldogs when they face the Gamecocks in the first of two meetings this season. In addition the first 1,000 Bulldog fans will receive a free rally towel courtesy of YP.

The Citadel enters the game having won nine of its last 11 contests, including two of three over the weekend at Wofford, and is 14-7 overall and 4-2 in the Southern Conference. South Carolina (17-3, 3-1 SEC) is ranked fifth in the nation by both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball.
Junior left hander Logan Cribb will get the start for the Bulldogs and will be looking to replicate his performance of two years ago when he blanked the Gamecocks over eight innings in a 2-0 Citadel victory at Riley Park. Cribb is 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 17 innings on the year.
Jack Wynkoop will be on the mound for South Carolina. The freshman southpaw has a record of 3-0 with an ERA of 0.64 in four appearances including two starts. He has allowed only 11 hits and one earned run while striking out eight in 14 innings.
South Carolina won both games last year by scores of 7-3 in Charleston and 8-0 in Columbia. The Gamecocks are 38-11 against The Citadel and 11-4 at Riley Park since Fred Jordan became the head coach of the Bulldogs in 1992.
Rivalry week continues for the Bulldogs on Wednesday when they travel to Patriot's Point for a 6 p.m. game against College of Charleston. That game will not count in the SoCon standings as the teams will play a three-game league series at Riley Park on May 10-12.
Freshman right hander Austin Livingston (2-0, 5.91 ERA) will pitch for The Citadel while the Cougars' starter has yet to be set.
The Bulldogs finish the week with a three-game set against Charleston Southern, playing at Riley Park on Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and venturing to CSU for a 2 p.m. game on Saturday.
