Oliver Reynolds Named Interim Head Coach of The Citadel Tennis Team

Charleston, S.C. – Oliver Reynolds has been named interim head coach of The Citadel tennis team.

Reynolds was the assistant coach for the Bulldogs last season. Under Reynolds, The Citadel is off to its best start since the 1997 season with a mark of 3-0.  

Reynolds attended Samford and was a member of the tennis team all four years, making two NCAA tournament appearances. He was captain of the of the 2011 Samford team that won the Southern Conference championship and a member of the 2008 team that won the Ohio Valley Conference championship. Reynolds was the interim head coach and assistant coach at Samford during the fall of 2011.

Reynolds has served the past four summers as the assistant professional at Northeast Harbor Tennis Club in Maine.

A native of Atlanta, Ga., Reynolds received his bachelor's degree in finance from Samford in December 2011.
