Bulldog Rifle Set to Compete in SEARC 3

Charleston, S.C.-The Citadel Rifle team will travel to Anniston, Ala. on Saturday to compete in the third Southeastern Air Rifle Conference competition of the 2010-11 season.

The Bulldog shooters have taken first place in each of the first two SEARC competitions, but will look to rebound from their first NCAA loss of the season, when they were downed by the University of Alaska-Fairbanks on Tuesday at The Citadel Marksmanship Center.

The Citadel Rifle team will be the host of their next two NCAA matches. They will compete against the 2009-10 National Champions, TCU, on Nov. 13 in a head-to-head contest, followed by a two-day, four-team battle against Kentucky, Army, and North Carolina State on Nov. 15-16.
