Citadel Golf Finishes Fifth at S.C. State Bulldog Invitational

2012 S.C. Bulldog Invitational Results

Citadel sophomore Kellie Anderson fired a three-day score of 237 (+21) to place 20th at the S.C. State Bulldog Invitational, piloting the Cadets to a fifth-place showing at Patriots Point.

The Bulldogs posted a three-day total of 953 (310-323-320), one shot behind Towson (952). Southern Conference rival Wofford captured the three-day event with an 884, followed by Bethune-Cookman (895) and host S.C. State (931).

Anderson (80-76-81—237) finished one shot in front of teammate Erica Pellegrini. Pellegrini (71-90-77—238) was the lone Citadel participant to post two rounds of 70 at the par 72, 5,799-yard course.

The Bulldogs also counted scorecards from Eraina Manor (82-79-80—241), who tied for 25th, Hollie Salvo (77-80-89—246) and TaKima Butler (87-88-82—257).

Top individual honors were shared by Anne Marie Covar (Wofford) and Patrizia Trevisan (Bethune-Cookman), who fired a two-under-par (214). The Terriers' Lauren Dunbar placed in third with a 219, following rounds of 70, 76 and 73.
