Manor Leads Citadel Golfers at Edwin Watts Invitational

Freshman Eraina Manor led all Citadel players with a three-round total of 245 (+29) at the Edwin Watts Invitational. She topped a Bulldogs team that finished with a three-day total of 1,017 (337-346-334, +153), and tied with Fairleigh Dickinson for 30th place.

Manor (78-85-82—245) finished six shots in front of teammate TaKima Butler, who fired a 251 (85-83-83; +35). Manor was the lone Citadel participant to post a round of 70 at the courses of Oak Point Golf Club.

The Bulldogs also counted scorecards from Kellie Anderson (85-88-80—253), who tied for 140th, Hollie Salvo (89-90-89—268) and Amelia Goodwin (95-0-0—WD).

Big South Conference representative Campbell captured the event with an 899 (+35), followed by host College of Charleston (902, +38) and Troy (906, +42).

Top individual honors went to CofC's Julia Neumann, who fired a three-over-par (219) to edge Julia Roth (Central Arkansas) by one stroke. Third place was shared by UNCG's Fanny Cnops and Harin Lee (St. John's) who finished with a five-over-par (221).

The Citadel makes its return to the course on March 24, when the team heads to Hilton Head for the Lowcountry Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford.
