Citadel Golf Competes in Low Country Intercollegiate

Charleston, S.C. – Following a three-week layoff, The Citadel golf team competes in its third tournament of the spring season when the Dogs head to Hilton Head to compete in the Low Country Intercollegiate.

The tournament will take place at the Moss Creek Golf Club par-72, 5,822-yard South Course.

A total of 16 teams, including fellow Southern Conference foes Western Carolina, Appalachian State and host Wofford, will compete in the event. Among the non-conference participants include Akron, Brown, Dartmouth, Princeton and Western Kentucky. 

MOST RECENT OUTING FOR THE DOGS (March 3-5): Freshman Eraina Manor led all Citadel players with a three-round total of 245 (+29) at the Edwin Watts Invitational. She topped a Bulldogs team that finished with a three-day total of 1,017 (337-346-334, +153), and tied with Fairleigh Dickinson for 30th place.

Manor (78-85-82—245) finished six shots in front of teammate TaKima Butler, who fired a 251 (85-83-83; +35). Manor was the lone Citadel participant to post a round of 70 at the courses of Oak Point Golf Club.

The Bulldogs also counted scorecards from Kellie Anderson (85-88-80—253), who tied for 140th, Hollie Salvo (89-90-89—268) and Amelia Goodwin (95-0-0—WD).
