Citadel Golf Ends Season at 2013 SoCon Championship

Citadel freshman Eraina Manor capped off the 2013 Southern Conference Golf Championship at Moss Creek Golf Club's North Course in Hilton Head with a three-day 12-over-par to finish tied for 35th place.

Manor (80-81-84—245) finished the final round with nine pars which gave her 31 in her first SoCon Golf Championship.

Kellie Anderson (86-86-86—258) matched Manor as the only Citadel golfer to post three consecutive rounds in the 80s. Anderson executed her short game to finish with three birdies on the tournament, including one on the 11th hole in Tuesday's action.

Senior TaKima Butler (90-95-85—270) ended her Bulldog career on a positive note, carding a final round 85, which placed her in 46th with a 54-over-par. Hollie Salvo (+54) tied Butler's 270 with scores of 90, 86, 94.

Completing the card for The Citadel was McKenzie Duncan (105-90-91—286) who ended the tournament with a +70.

The Bulldogs ended the tournament in 10th place with a team score of 1,035 (346-343-346, +171). Ahead of The Citadel was Appalachian State (941, +77) and Western Carolina (969, +105).

Chattanooga (895, +31) finished six shots better than Furman (901) to earn their fourth straight team title in as many years and the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Mocs' Agathe Sauzon (75-71-72—218) earned top individual honors, edging out College of Charleston's Mary Chandler Bryan (76-71-71—218) with a birdie from three feet away in a sudden death playoff. Day two leader, Fanny Cnops (UNCG) tied with Valentina Romero (Furman), for third place with scores of 219.
