JUNIOR (2011-12): Finished the 2011-12 campaign with a record of 33-12 at 174 pounds … posted 21 decisions, four major decisions, one technical fall and three pins … Southern Conference 174-pound champion … went 2-2 at the NCAA Championships ... fell to Illinois’ Jordan Blanton in the first round of the NCAA Championships before topping Old Dominion's No.10-ranked Te Edwards in a 3-1 sudden victory (SV2) and West Virginia’s Lance Bryson with a 7-3 decisions in the Wrestleback bracket before getting knocked off in Session III by Maryland's Jimmy Sheptock by a sudden victory takedown with 23 seconds remaining … placed sixth at the highly competitive Southern Scuffle tournament … took fourth place with a 4-2 record at the Nittany Lion Open … earned a second place finish with a 3-1 record at the Hokie Open … named to the all-conference team.
SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Started all 20 duals at 165 pounds … named the SoCon Wrestler of the Year … overall record of 38-10, 5-0 in SoCon action … second consecutive NCAA Championships appearance ... went 16-4 in dual action … picked up eight wins over nationally ranked opponents … became the highest ranked wrestler in Citadel history in January after cracking the top-10 in all major national polls … picked up five pins, two tech falls and a major decision on the season … led the team in wins and third on the team in pins … won the All-Academy Championships title at 165 pounds … placed fifth after going 5-1 at the Hokie Open … went 3-1 at the Hersey duals… swept both matches at the Disney Duals … placed third at the Penn State Open after going 4-1 … went 8-1 en route to a third place finish at the Southern Scuffle … split four matches at the Lone Star Duals … placed second at the SoCon Championships ... named SoCon Wrestler of the Week on Jan. 5 and Feb. 2 … named SoCon Wrestler of the Month in December and January.
FRESHMAN (2009-10): Started at 157-pound weight class … named to the inaugural SoCon All-Freshman Team … overall record of 26-12, 4-1 in SoCon action … went a team-best 11-4 in dual action … picked up three major decisions to go with six pins … won the 157-pound title at the SoCon Championships … advanced to the NCAA Championships … 26 wins were second most on the team and sixth most in the SoCon … won title in freshman/sophomore tournament at Michigan State … took third place at NC State Open … placed third at All-Academy Championships … earned SoCon Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 23 … named SoCon Wrestler of the Month in February after going 7-1 with four pins in the month.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of St. Benedicts Prep in Newark, N.J., where he was teammates with current Bulldog Vincent Bellaran ... lettered in wrestling ... earned the title of New Jersey Prep State Champion ...
