Charleston, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams will hit the trails for its third race in as many weeks when it hosts the 32nd annual Citadel Invitational on Saturday morning at Laurel Hill Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

In 2008, the race was changed to the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational in remembrance of fallen Bulldog runner, Will Wilson, who was tragically killed in a hit and run accident on Sept. 7, 2008 in Columbia, S.C.

The men's team has shown huge improvements this season and look to carry its success into the final race before the conference championships on Oct. 27 at Laurel Hill Plantation. Senior captain Kyle Keene and Austin Waldrop are coming off an 8k race at the Disney Classic where the duo both landed in the top 10 out of a field of 190 runners.

On the women's side, junior Danielle McKee continues to lead the Bulldogs and has now finished first among her teammates in each of her first 16 races since entering The Citadel.
