No name appears in The Citadel's track and field record book more than Lathcha (Sanders) Brown. The two-time team MVP ranks in the Top 10 in seven different indoor events and eight different outdoor events. She is still the school record holder in the 60-meter hurdles. She captured the 2007 Southern Conference championship in the heptathlon, was a three-time conference runner-up and six-time All-SoCon selection.
Sanders-Brown was twice named to the Dean's List, and earned Gold Star's during her final semester.
