A four-time Southern Conference finalist and three-time NCAA qualifier, Sean Markey completed his Bulldog career with 125 career wins, including 69 victories by fall. The 2006 Southern Conference Wrestler of the Year closed out his career by reaching the Round of 16 at the NCAA Championships.
Markey was a three-time All-Academy champion and the recipient of the Ken Shelton Outstanding Wrestling award as a senior.
