GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Citadel golf team wrapped up play at the Starmount Forest Fall Classic on Tuesday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In just her second collegiate tournament,
Rachel Belanger had a breakout performance for the Bulldogs and finished tied for 28th after carding a 78 in the final round. Belanger started the day tied for 37th after shooting a 79 and an 84 in the first two rounds but steadily climbed up the leaderboard throughout the final round of competition.

The freshman was followed closely by
Cameron Little who finished tied for 44th for her second consecutive top 50 finish.
Andrea Hoos carded a season-best 79 on Monday en route to finishing tied for 51st.
Renata Sucha and
Marina Grimal followed with three-round marks of 263 and 270, respectively, to round out The Citadel's scoring.

The Citadel finished the tournament in 10th place and will now head to the Terrier Intercollegiate in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The two-day tournament will be hosted by SoCon foe Wofford beginning on Oct. 10.
