REDSHIRT (2011-12): Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School ... lettered four years in wrestling and  two in football ... accumulated a record of 90-26 ... earned all-region three times and all-state during his senior season with a record of 42-2 ... placed second in the state in 2011.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeff Michael and Kathie Shuman ... majoring in criminal justice.
