Charleston, SC - The Citadel Rifle Team went to their first South Eastern Air Rifle Conference match undefeated beating some strong competition. An all-around drop in averages led the Bulldogs to their first loss. The Citadel (1459) fell short of North Carolina State (1471) by 12 points.

The Citadel women (1392) put together a strong round almost nipping host school North Georgia (1396) to fall into fifth place overall.

"Everyone was 5 to 15 points below average except David Wright," commented coach Bill Smith. "Next match will be a chance for us avenge the loss at NC State on November 9th."

The Bulldogs will be at the North Carolina State Air/Smallbore match in Raleigh, NC on November 9.
