The main purpose of this page is to assist the media in coverage of The Citadel Athletics. If the desired information is not available on this page or the sport's home, please contact the media relations office at (843) 953-6795.

ATHLETICS COMMUNICATIONS OFFICES
The Athletics Communications Office is located on the first floor of McAlister Field House on the east side of the building. Visitor's parking is available along Jenkins Ave. and behind Deas Hall.

TO THE MEDIA
Media interested in an interview with the Citadel coach(es) or cadet-athletes, as well as those interested in a press credential, are asked to contact the Athletics Communications staffer assigned to that sport.

All interview requests for The Citadel coaches, cadet-athletes and administrators should be directed to the appropriate member of the Athletics Communications staff at least 24 hours in advance. Each member can be reached directly and quickly via email or phone number listed on this page.

CADET-ATHLETE INTERVIEWS
All cadet-athlete interviews must be coordinated through the Athletics Communications Office. Cadet-athlete interviews will take place either prior to or following practice. Cadet-athletes will not be pulled from their regular schedules during the week for interviews and should not be contacted directly.

CREDENTIALS

  • Sideline – The Citadel strictly follows NCAA rules regarding media representatives on the sidelines. Photographers are not permitted to shoot within the designated team areas and must display their credentials at all times.
  • Spouses, dates, children, equipment carriers and non-workers are restricted from press boxes, sidelines and locker rooms. Any abuse of a working credential will result in the media agency losing credential privileges. Credentials will not be issued to any person under the age of 18.
  • In some instances, due to space limitations, meeting the identified criteria does not guarantee credentials.
  • Space for working press, radio, and television is allocated by The Citadel Athletics Communications Office, which reserves the right to deny credentials to any outlet.
