The Citadel women's golf team (334-353=687) placed 14th following two rounds in Coca Cola Intercollegiate.
Kayla Bowsher (78-80=158) placed 16th overall for the Bulldogs. Suzanne Campbell (82-81=163), Tracy Hancock (83-82=165) and Mary Nguyen (93-110=203) also battled for the Bulldogs. Kelley Thorsen withdrew after shooting a round of 91 on the first day.
"I am very happy with our fall season," commented coach Benji Broadwater. "Each golfer showed at one time or another the potential to shoot very competitive scores, and hopefully next semester we can put those good scores together on the same days."
Winning the 15-team tournament was Florida Atlantic shooting a two day total of 626 strokes.
The women will be competing next at the Florida International Spring Invitational February 9-11 in Miami, FL.
