Charleston, SC - Jennifer Monson has accepted the 2002 graduate assistant volleyball coaching position at The Citadel.

"Jennifer will be a big addition to our staff," states head coach Wendy Anderson. "She brings a lot of knowledge and has a great passion for the game."

Monson was a two-year starter at NW Missouri State University before transferring to Charleston Southern to become a starter, as well.

In 2001, Monson was named First-Team All-Big South, which improved her title from 2000 as Second-Team All-Big South.She also holds All-Tournament Team titles from Emporia State, 1999, Florida State, Georgia State and South Carolina State, 2000 and Furman University, 2001.
