The Citadel's women's soccer coach Megan Hoban has announced the signing of two student-athletes to National Letters-of-Intent.

Julie Austin is a forward from Fuquay-Varina, NC where she accumulated numerous awards including all-conference in both soccer and basketball. In soccer, Austin was the leading scorer and assist maker her junior and senior years as well as the team captain.

Other than soccer, Austin participated and lettered in basketball and cross country, which led her to become the female Athlete-of-the-Year at Fuquay-Varina, NC for two consecutive years.

Angela Ellenwood is a goalkeeper from Snohomish, WA where she was a four-year letter winner in soccer. Ellenwood was given the Wesco Honorable Mention title in 2000 and 2001 while attaining All-Area honors both years and the Wesco Sportsmanship award in 2000. She is also a member of the Honor Society.

While waiting for the school year to start, Ellenwood will play for the Issaquah Saints in the Pacific Coast Soccer League for whom she played last year. As a member of the Saints in 2001, Ellenwood won a National Championship.
