Citadel basketball coach Pat Dennis will speak to the South Carolina High School Basketball Coaches' Association on Wednesday, July 31st at 9:00 am in the North Charleston Convention Center.

"It is a honor to be picked to speak at the annual coaches' meetings," stated Dennis. "It will be a great opportunity to see all of the coaches and continue the relationships that I have formed with them over the past 10 years in the state as a recruiter and a head coach."

Dennis, the second winningest coach in Citadel history, has led the Bulldogs to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in 21 years and is known for being a tremendous X's and O's coach, with a strong recruiting background. He enters his 10th season at the helm and stands only 10 victories behind former Bulldog coach and current Director of Athletics Les Robinson.

Dennis' 2002-03 version of the Bulldogs returns 11 letter winners and seven players that have either started or saw significant game action. That group includes six seniors that are poised to post three consecutive winning seasons for only the third time in school history.
