The Citadel women's golf team (322-328=650) placed 12th of 14 following two rounds in the Sixth Annual Draper Valley Lady Highlander Fall Invitational hosted by Radford University at Draper Valley Golf Course in Draper, VA. Freshman Kayla Bowsher (78-78=156) tied for 36th to lead the Bulldogs.

Kelley Thorsen (77-82=159) improved considerably from last week's performance to tie for 47th. Suzanne Campbell (81-84=165) tied for 59th, while Tracy Hancock (86-86=172) and Mary Nguyen (88-84=172) tied for 65th in a field of 70 plus.

Winning the 14-team tournament was Longwood University with 586 strokes.

The women will be competing next at the Cougar Fall Invitation, September 22, 2002 in Charleston, SC.
