Charleston, SC - The Citadel wrestling team managed a 19-point team advantage by winning seven of the ten weight classes at McAlister Field House Tuesday night. Wins by Ryan McClester, Sean Markey, Mike Martinez, Vince Bartges, Travis Piccard, Keith Clifton and John Dickerson lifted The Citadel to victory.

"We had an overall good performance and a very good fan turnout," stated head coach Rob Hjerling. "There were a couple of guys who looked past their opponents and it was hard getting everyone to focus on this dual. A lot of our attention has been on our conference opener versus Appalachian State on Friday."

The Citadel will take to the mat again this Friday, January 17, in Boone, NC versus Appalachian State at 7pm.
