Charleston, SC - Senior Robert Killian led the Bulldogs to a third-place finish at the Winthrop Invitational held in Rock Hill, SC, October 18, with an 8k time of 26:19.79. Four Bulldog runners placed in the top-25.

"It was good to see these results at this point in the season," stated head coach Jody Huddleston. "Killian ran well and it is encouraging to see the freshman preform in this manner as we prepare for the conference championships."

Junior Marc Quesenberry's time of 26:50.01 was good enough to secure 14th-place. Freshman Matt Holmes (27:16.82) and Eilliot Shay (27:39.42) rounded-out the top-25 earning the 19th and 25th spots. Freshman Charles Kutz crossed the finish in 27:48.09 to place 27th, while classmate Will Wilson found the 39th spot in 28:37.21.

The Citadel returns to action November 1, as they travel to Davidson to participate in the Southern Conference Championships.
