Waynesville, NC - Sophomore Kyla Bowsher finishes day one of the Wachovia-Great Smokies Intercollegiate tied for 69th with a one-round total of 81 (38-43). The tournament is being held at the par-72, 5,867-yard course at Waynesville Country Club in Waynesville, NC.

Joining Bowsher on the links is junior Mary Nguyen (T107) with a one-round total of 86 (46-40), sophomore Kelley Thorsen (T 124) posting a score of 94 (48-46) and senior Suzanne Campbell (T124) with a total of 94 (48-46).

The Citadel, currently in 24th-place, posted a combine score of 355. Murray State leads the field with a team total of 294.

The 24-team field returns to the links Tuesday morning, October 21, for the final round with a 9:30 AM shotgun start.
