The Citadel tennis team played a match against University of Central Florida (UCF) Tuesday afternoon losing, 4-3, at the UCF Tennis Complex.
The highlight for the Bulldogs (7-13) came in singles play against the Golden Knights (15-2) when the freshman duo of David Lara and Warren Woolfolk defeated their opponents Paul Ramy and Rhett Rohen, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4, 6-4, respectively. In doubles play, The Citadel came up short leaving with no victories.
The Bulldogs next match will be Wednesday, April 2, at 2 pm when they return home from spring break to take on the Terrier's from Wofford at the Donald C. Bunch courts.
