Kelly Pesterfield scored the lone goal for The Citadel as the Bulldogs end a double overtime battle in a 1-1 draw against non-conference opponent Canisius, September 14, at the Demske Sports Complex.

Pesterfield tallied the first goal of the match off a pass from Debbie White to put The Citadel up 1-0 in the first 13 minutes.

The Griffs' Jen Smith scored from 21 yards out at the 24:48 mark to tie the game at one before the half.

The Bulldogs return home, September 17, as they play host to Coastal Carolina at 7:00 pm.
