Charleston, SC - I sat down with Duran Lawson, the starting freshman quarterback for The Citadel, to find out some things you may not know about the signal-caller from Conway, South Carolina. From his favorite mess hall meal to his plans for the NCAA Division I-A National Championship game, Lawson lets us know what drives him to succeed.
Why The Citadel...
My dad was in the military so I thought it would be good to follow in his footsteps.
Describe being a freshman at The Citadel...
It is not fun because you do a lot of things that you are not used to doing.
Being the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs...
It is a learning experience because of the new system. I am learning on the go, trying to learn something new each day.

I like to just sleep and relax.

Myrtle Beach...I do not really know much about Charleston yet.
USC or Clemson...
USC...I have two cousins, George and Andrea Gause, that play for the Gamecocks.

Minnesota Vikings...Randy Moss grew-up close to where I was raised in West Virginia.

Michael Vick...I am a lot like him...Left-handed quarterback that can run.
