Charleston, SC - The Citadel baseball program hosted its fourth annual "Meet the Bulldogs" Sunday afternoon at Riley Park. Over 500 fans were in attendance for a day that included autographs, pictures, hotdogs and donuts.

Former Citadel players T.A. Fulmer, Phil Hartig, Dallas McPherson, and Chris Morris joined the 2004 Bulldog baseball team in bringing in the 2004 season. Kids and fans of all ages received autographs and a hotdog lunch that included donuts from Krispy Kreme and ice cream sandwiches from Pet Milk for dessert.

Following the meet and greet session, coach Fred Jordan's club put on an intrasquad scrimmage for the fans. Highlights of the scrimmage include 2 hits from four Bulldogs, Chris Altman, Chip Cannon, Chris Eaves and Chance Smith. Jon Aughey scored two runs, while Tripp Cappelmann and Brady Mashak both had two runs batted in. The Bulldogs open the 2004 baseball season as they host UNC Charlotte in Riley Park on February 14 at 2 pm. The 59-game schedule for the Fred Jordan's ball club will include a five-game tournament in Hawaii and will conclude with the Southern Conference Tournament scheduled for May 26-29 in Riley Park.
