Greenville, SC - The Citadel featured both the men's and women's MVP award winners at the Furman Invitational track and field meet on Saturday with triple-event winners Stephanie McNeill and Travis Taylor.

The Citadel's Stephanie McNeill, who set a meet record in the shot put with a mark of 39 feet, 2-1/2 inches and won the discus (35.69 meters) and the hammer (26.67 meters).

The men's MVP went to Travis Taylor, who won the long jump (19-4), the high jump (6-0), and the javelin (49.6), and placed second in the pole vault (9-6).
