Boone, NC - Junior Tracy Hancock fired a 39 and 42 to lead The Citadel with a two- round total of 81 at the Draper Valley Women's Invitational at the Draper Valley Golf Club. Hancock's tally was good enough to tie her with four others for 46th place.

"The girls had a rough first day, but the second day was looking to be one of our lowest total scores yet," said head coach Kim Lewellen. "Unfortunately the rains came but it was nice to see such low scores from our Citadel Women".

Hancock was followed by junior Kayla Bowsher in 56th (41-42, 83), senior Mary Nguyen in 61st (42-43, 85) and junior Kelly Thorsen in 64th (45-42, 87). The Bulldogs totaled a score of 336, good for 14th place.

The Cadets next head to Myrtle Beach on September 24 for the Sea Trail Intercollegiate hosted by Elon.
