Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel women's soccer team will continue to play this weekend after all. The Costco Soccer Classic has been rescheduled to be played at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C.

On Tuesday, The Citadel cancelled all sporting events on campus this weekend because of safety concerns regarding possible evacuation due to hurricane Frances. After this announcement was made, it was decided to move the tournament to a safer location. Play times and dates have also been altered due to the move.

Four teams were originally slated to play. Stephen F. Austin, Winthrop, Akron and The Citadel were all to participate in the tournament this Friday and Sunday. Stephen F. Austin opted to withdraw from the tournament and The Citadel will now be playing Akron on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Winthrop on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
