Charleston, SC - Senior middle blocker Audra Ritchie and junior right side hitter Marina Daniel totaled 15 and 14 kills respectively to lead The Citadel to a 3-0 route of Savannah State in intercollegiate volleyball action Wednesday night in McAlister Field House.

The Citadel (2-3) also received strong performances from junior outside hitter Samantha Parisi who posted 10 kills and six digs. Senior setter Katie Livingston showed signs of continued improvement as she ran the Bulldog offence and accumulated 32 assists.

Savannah State (0-6) received a strong showing from sophomore middle hitter Donna Jenkins, who posted 11 kills on the night.

The Citadel returns to action this weekend as they travel to Annapolis, MD to take on military rivals Army and Navy. The Bulldogs return home on September 19 when they will play host to Hampton University at 1:00 pm.
