CHARLESTON, SC -
The Johnson Hagood Stadium Campaign reached a milestone when the 1,500th Personal Seat License (PSL) was sold this week.
"We were confident the PSL program would be a success but it has gone above and beyond our expectations," said Director of Athletics Les Robinson. "Once people see the actual seats being built in the stands, obviously more interest will be generated, greatly benefiting both our fans and The Citadel."
The purchase of a PSL guarantees an individual a premium, reserved seating location in the new stadium for his/her lifetime. The new West Grandstands, which are expected to be complete by the 2006 football season, will hold 2,330 PSLs.
According to Robinson, the center "blue" section is completely sold out. He adds that there are still excellent seats remaining in the adjacent "white" sections but are filling up quickly.
The Citadel thanks everyone who has already purchased a PSL and encourages those who have not yet done so to invest in this special program before the opportunity passes.
