Spartanburg, SC - Junior Kayla Bowsher tied for sixth place to lead The Citadel's women's golf team to a sixth place finish at the Coca-Cola Terrier Intercollegiate at Carolina Country Club, Saturday and Sunday in Spartanburg.

Bowsher (80-76, 156), who fired a team low round of 76 on Sunday, finished in the top ten for the second time this school year. 76 also tied both the team low and her personal low round for the season. Junior Kelly Thorsen (84-81, 165) tied for 18 to earn her second top 20 performance of the year. Junior Tracy Hancock (t28), freshman Alex Lucisano (42) and senior Mary Nguyen (52) rounded out the field for the Bulldogs.

The women's golf team will head to Sebring, FL this Thursday to participate in the NIU Springlake Invitational.
