Charleston, SC -
Want to see the best possible view of Charleston from atop the new Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge? How about a free trip for two to the University of Mississippi - Citadel football game at Oxford? Need two nearly-impossible-to-get tickets for the expanded Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball Tournament next March? What about the use of a luxury sky box for the upcoming Southern Conference Baseball Tournament?
These outstanding items, along with a multitude of other vacation trips, goods and services will be awarded to the highest bidder at the 17th Annual Citadel Brigadier Foundation Auction on Saturday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. at McAlister Field House.
This year's theme is A Bridge to the Future: Supporting Cadet-Student-Athletes. This promises to be an enjoyable evening and will help raise money needed to support athletic scholarships at The Citadel.
A week's stay at Edisto, Pawley's or Kiawah islands, a mountain home getaway, an African Game Hunt Safari, Citadel sports camps and memorabilia, NASCAR tickets and much, much more.
"We have a wide variety of items that we feel every home would have an interest in," said Committee Chairman Danny Quirk `80.
Tickets for the event are $25 (and $10 for a bottomless cup) and include a full course dinner. There are packages available for corporate tables. Tickets may be secured at the door. Additional information and advanced tickets may be secured by calling The Citadel Brigadier Foundation at (843)953-5277.
