Charleston, SC - ESPNU announced late last week that The Citadel-Florida State football game slated for September 10 will be aired on the new 24-hour college sports network. Kick off is set for 6:45 pm.

The Bulldog-Seminole match-up, which will be one of four games scheduled for September 10 on ESPNU, will mark the first time a Southern Conference member will be shown on the 24-hour college sports network.

"This is a great opportunity for Bulldog football," stated Citadel Director of Athletics Les Robinson. "Appearing on one of the ESPN networks is not a luxury that many I-AA teams have and I want to thank ESPN and everyone at Florida State, including Athletic Director Dave Hart and coach Bobby Bowden, for giving us this opportunity."

The Bulldogs will open the season on September 3 as they host cross-town rival Charleston Southern at 7 pm.
