Charleston, SC - The Citadel's head volleyball coach Wendy Anderson announced Tuesday morning the signing of a fourth National Letter-of-Intent by Rachel Sanders who will join three early signees and enroll at The Citadel this fall.

"We are very pleased to have Rachel joining our squad," said Anderson. "She is a very athletic young lady with an explosive vertical who should be able to step right in and contribute."

Sanders, an outside hitter and libero from Fayetteville, NC, attended Jack Britt High School. While at Jack Britt she was a four-year letter winner for the volleyball team and also lettered in track twice. Her senior season she recorded 448 kills on 1179 attacks while tallying 77 blocks. A two time all-region selection, Sanders was named the Mid-Southeastern Conference Player of the Year her senior season.
