Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel baseball team will host the sixth annual "Meet the Bulldogs" this Sunday, January 29th at Joseph P. Riley Park. Festivities begin at 12 pm.

From noon to 1 pm, fans of all ages will have the opportunity to "meet and greet" with The Citadel Bulldogs. The 2006 club as well as several former Bulldogs, including Jonathan Ellis and Chip Cannon, will be on hand for autographs and pictures.

A free hotdog lunch, compliments of the RiverDogs, will be provided. The annual Blue-White scrimmage is set to begin at 1 pm, following the "meet and greet" session.

The Bulldogs will open the 2006 season on the road as they travel to participate in the Springmaid Beach Resort Tournament hosted by Coastal Carolina Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11. The Citadel will face Virginia on Friday at noon and Campbell on Saturday at 11:30 am.
