The Citadel looks to snap a two-match losing streak and record their second conference win in a row as the Bulldogs square off with the Phoenix at Elon on Saturday at noon. The Citadel's James Eason is looking to record his 10th consecutive singles victory while Eason and doubles partner Daniel Dossetor continue to remain undefeated in doubles play. Elon (6-3, 1-0 SoCon) is led by No. 124 Damon Gooch, the only SoCon player to be individually ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Bulldogs (7-5, 3-1 SoCon) recently concluded a seven-match home stand that witnessed five matches in four days. The Bulldogs closed out the home stand with a doubleheader loss to No. 54 Virginia Tech, 6-1, and Richmond, 4-2.
