Laie, Hawaii -
The Citadel's men's tennis team was able to wait through the rain to sweep past Wisconsin-Green Bay but the rain persisted and the Bulldogs were forced to postpone their match with host-No.14 BYU-Hawaii Tuesday afternoon. The match, which was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. Hawaiian time (7 p.m. ET) will attempted to be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 22, but will be dependent upon the weather in Laie. The Aloha State has seen over nine feet of rain fall over the past three weeks with more rain predicted for tomorrow.
The Citadel (10-7, 4-2 Southern Conference) swept by Wisconsin-Green Bay (5-7) on Monday for the Bulldogs' first 7-0 victory of the season. The host Seasiders (9-0), who have already cancelled three matches due to the unusual amount of rainfall, have yet to leave the 50th state archipelago but are scheduled to come to the mainland on March 25 for a trip to Alabama.
