The Citadel's men's tennis team continues their seven-match home stand as they start a stretch of five matches in four days, beginning with Southern Conference foe UNC Greensboro Monday at 2 p.m. The Cadets (4-3, 2-1 SoCon) look to return to their winning ways after dropping a close 4-3 decision to Georgia Southern for the Bulldogs' first conference loss of the season.
The Citadel will host UNCG Monday at 2 p.m. and then the Atlantic 10's Charlotte 49ers on Tuesday, March 7 at 1 p.m. James Madison will visit Charleston on Wednesday, March 8 with the Dukes and the Bulldogs facing off at 2 p.m. The Citadel will host a doubleheader on Thursday, squaring off with Virginia Tech of the Atlantic Coast Conference at 9 a.m. and then taking on the Atlantic 10's University of Richmond at 2 p.m.
UNCG (2-8, 0-1 SoCon) dropped a 7-0 decision at the College of Charleston on Saturday, ending a two-match winning streak.
The Citadel's 4-3 loss to Georgia Southern ended their three-match winning streak and spoiled the Bulldogs' bid to win three consecutive conference matches for the first time since 2004.
