Charleston, S.C. - The Citadel Athletics Department, in partnership with XOS Technologies, Inc., will launch their new website on Monday, July 17. After months of preparation, the official site of Bulldogs Athletics, still located at www.CitadelSports.com, will be live at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

The website kicks off in conjunction with the new era of Bulldogs Athletics, which also includes several new coaches, the re-opening of the west stands at Johnson Hagood Stadium and a number of exciting 2006 schedules.

Due to the new partnership and Monday's launching, the current website will be down starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14 and will remain inactive throughout the weekend. While the new site will be up and running on Monday morning, Bulldog fans are asked to be patient as databases are being rebuilt and content increased over the next few weeks.

Citadel fans are encouraged to check-out the new site that will feature a more up-to-date, enhanced design with new and advanced features, including live audio and video streaming, detailed schedules, photo galleries and much more.

Several areas of the website have already been updated to include more detailed information on Bulldogs Athletics. Look to see a more in-depth look at the athletics department from staff and media services to history and traditions. More coverage will also be available for The Citadel's 15 varsity sports teams, including live broadcasts, up-to-date stats, media guides, rosters, recruiting and camp information.
