Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Athletics Department, in partnership with XOS Technologies, Inc., launches their new website. After months of preparation, the official site of Bulldog Athletics, still located at www.CitadelSports.com, is up and running.
“We are so excited about the new CitadelSports.com,” said Athletics Media Relations Director Noelle Orr. “The site has a great, new enhanced look with up-to-date, user-friendly technology that will allow Citadel fans to retrieve more information that ever about Bulldog Athletics.”
The website kicks off in conjunction with the new era of Bulldog Athletics, which also includes several new coaches, the re-opening of the west stands at Johnson Hagood Stadium and a number of exciting 2006 schedules.
Although the site is live, Bulldog fans are asked to be patient as databases are being rebuilt and content increased over the next few weeks.
“We are in the process of updating several of the databases and welcome any feedback during the process,” Orr added. “We want the site to serve Citadel alumni, fans and anyone interested in the Citadel and what the athletics department has to offer.”
Several areas of the website have already been updated to include more detailed information on Bulldog Athletics. Look to see a more in-depth view at the athletics department from staff and media services to history and traditions. More coverage will also be available for The Citadel's 15 varsity sports teams, including live broadcasts, up-to-date stats, media guides, recruiting and camp information. There are also several video samples fans can view free of charge as a preview of Bulldog Insider, the website's new premium content section.
Citadel fans are encouraged to continue to check-out the new site for advanced features, including live audio and video streaming, photo galleries and much more. Fans are encouraged to send their feedback regarding the new site to Associate Media Relations Director and Webmaster Patrick Walsh at Patrick.Walsh@citadel.edu.
