Bulldog fans now have an extra reason to visit CitadelSports.com on a regular basis: to check out the latest Bulldog Auctions in the brand new Online Auction Section! Browsing the current auctions is easy; click on the auctions button in the top right portion of your CitadelSports.com home screen.
Currently up for bidding right now are signed mini football helmets, autographed by The Citadel head football coach Kevin Higgins, and Goal Line Drive t-shirts. These unique items are only available through Bulldog online auctions at CitadelSports.com. Fans have a great opportunity to add to their collection of gear and memorabilia from The Citadel.
Once you decide that you would like to bid on an item, you must first type in the bid amount you wish to submit, then click the place bid button. This will take you to a login screen.
If you are new to the auction page you will be asked to create an account, otherwise you will use your existing login. When creating a new account you will be asked for a credit card number that will be used for bidding. Your card will only be charged if you are the winning bidder. Each time you want to place a bid on any auction item after your initial account setup, you will use the same login information. Note that if you are a Bulldog Insider member, your username and password for the auction page must be different from your Bulldog Insider username and password.
Each auction will have a minimum bid to start and a set increment that the bids must meet or exceed thereafter. These auction will run for at least one week and may go as long as two weeks in time. The time allotted for each item will be displayed with it throughout the auction. At the end of each auction the winning bidder will be notified and the item will be shipped. Shipping charges are added to the winning bid at the end of each auction.
