Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Volleyball team is taking to the internet, in addition to the court, for the 2006 season under first-year head coach Carolyn Geiger as at least five matches will have a live video stream offered at CitadelSports.com this year. The Bulldog Spikers will first appear in live video on Tuesday, Sept. 19 as they take on the College of Charleston at 7 p.m. All three matches this week will have either live audio or live video.

Fans can watch the live action from anywhere in the world by logging on to CitadelSports.com and signing into their Bulldog Insider accounts. Fans can register for Bulldog Insider at CitadelSports.com and can gain access to a wealth of premium content, including the live broadcasts of Bulldog Volleyball.

“I am excited about the opportunity to broadcast our program's matches something very few programs in the country do,” said head coach Carolyn Geiger. “This is just another example of how committed The Citadel Athletics Department is to bringing the very best to our cadet-student-athletes. We are continually trying to bring new and better ways to showcase our programs to the country. This is an exciting time to be a Bulldog.”

In addition to live video being broadcast for this Tuesday's match at the College of Charleston, live audio will be available for the Friday, Sept. 22 match at Appalachian State. Live video will also be available for the Saturday, Sept. 23 match at Davidson. The full audio/video schedule is below. Live stats will be offered free of charge for all home matches and select road matches.
