McNeill was named the Southern Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Week after setting a school record and conference leading mark of 55' 11” in the 20lb. weight throw last weekend at the Clemson Invitational. It is the first honor for McNeill this season and the seventh SoCon Athlete of the Week award earned by a Bulldog this season.

McNeill was the first collegiate finisher at the Clemson Tiger Invitational in the shot put with a toss of 45' 4.25”. She also finished fourth in the 20 lb. weight with her throw of 55' 11”. She is currently ranked first in the weight and second in the shot put in the SoCon rankings heading into this week's Southern Conference Indoor Championships at Clemson.
