Charleston, S.C. The Citadel baseball team has added a game with No. 25 East Carolina to make up a contest after two weather-related cancellations. The Bulldogs will travel to Greenville, N.C. to take on the Pirates on Tuesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at Clark-LeClair stadium before heading to Columbia, S.C. to face No. 4 South Carolina on Wednesday, May 9.
East Carolina holds a 28-13 record and is currently fourth in the Conference USA rankings with a 6-5 mark. The Bulldogs and Pirates have had 31 meetings as East Carolina holds a slight 18-13 advantage in the all-time series. The last time the two met was in 2005 when the Pirates defeated the Dogs, 3-0, in Greenville.
The Bulldogs are set to host the College of Charleston this weekend, April 27-29. Fans can watch all three games live through Bulldog Insider on CitadelSports.com with Darren Goldwater and Mike McLaurin calling the action.
