Bulldogs Take On Cross-town Rival College of Charleston on Monday Night; Live Broadcasts on CSS TV and Sirius Satellite Radio

Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Basketball will take to the court again on Monday night looking to upset cross-town rival College of Charleston before a live CSS television audience in the schools' first meeting of the season. Tip-off is set for 7:05 p.m. at McAlister Field House.

The Citadel (5-10 overall; 0-6 SoCon) is still looking to capture their first conference win and break a four-game losing streak after coming off a 73-52 loss against Georgia Southern on Saturday at McAlister Field House. Monday's game is the second of a five-game home stretch for the Bulldogs that include matchups against Wofford, Davidson and UNC Greensboro.

The College of Charleston (7-8 overall; 2-3 SoCon) is coming off a disappointing 96-90 overtime loss at Georgia Southern on Thursday night. The Cougars have claimed wins against Western Carolina and Elon, while recording losses to Chattanooga, Appalachian State and GSU.

The last time the two teams met was on Feb. 22, 2007 at John Kresse Arena when the Cougars topped the Bulldogs, 50-40. The previous matchup earlier in the season ended 74-62 on Jan. 9 at McAlister Field House. Charleston leads the series that dates back to 1901, 43-37. The last Citadel win came in 2002 when the Bulldogs edged the Cougars, 60-58.
