Bulldogs in ?Good Hands?? with Allstate Field Goal Fan

Charleston, S.C. - With $2,000 on the line and thousands of college football fans in attendance, Wayne Sweeten of Columbia, S.C. split the uprights at Sansom Field at Johnson Hagood Stadium and earned cash for himself and The Citadel general scholarship fund.  Sweeten drilled a 25-yard field goal to win the cash prize as part of the Allstate “Good Hands®” Field Goal Net Program, presented by Allstate Insurance Company.

Exhibiting the preparedness of a veteran place kicker, the 22-year old, who was chosen at random by school officials, won $2,000, $1,000 for him and $1,000 donated to The Citadel's general scholarship fund. 

Allstate's Field Goal Kick Challenge, which took place during The Citadel vs. Chattanooga game on Saturday, Nov. 15, continues Allstate's on-field presence at college football games throughout the country.

In addition to the “Good Hands®” field goal net program, Allstate's expansive presence in college football is enhanced by its title sponsorship of the Allstate® Sugar Bowl.  Since its inception in 2005, Allstate has donated more than $1.5 million to participating schools' general scholarship funds through the “Good Hands®” field goal net program.  Allstate's corporate event and sponsorship portfolio also currently includes the U.S. Olympic Team, Gillett Evernham Motorsports and the Allstate® 400 at the Brickyard®.
